Pefkoulia Beach is the ideal destination for those seeking the aesthetic of the large West Coast beaches. Its name is inspired by the dense pine trees that create natural shade—a rare and refreshing feature. It is one of the largest and most easily accessible beaches near Agios Nikitas.
Tip: The beach is large enough to accommodate both the organized section (beach bar) and large free areas. The view from the main road during the descent is magnificent.
Kathisma Beach is undoubtedly one of Lefkada's most famous and fully organized beaches. It is the ultimate destination for those seeking a combination of exotic beauty and intense summer life.
Tip: Kathisma is known as the meeting point for paragliders, offering a unique spectacle. It features very easy road access and plenty of parking space.
The twin beaches Kavalikefta and Megali Petra are the dream of every visitor who wants to experience the untouched beauty of Western Lefkada. Here, the tall white cliffs meet the deep turquoise waters, while the scattered boulders in the sea create a unique, photographic composition.
Tip: Access requires a route experience (steep roads), but the beauty is mysterious and ideal for snorkeling around the rocks.
Gialos is a huge, extensive beach that stands out for the vast feeling of freedom it offers, while Egremni remains one of Greece's most recognizable landscapes, with the view of vertical, white cliffs.
Tip: Access to Egremni is only possible by boat (sea excursion) from Nydri or Vassiliki. Gialos is an excellent alternative for those seeking more space and tranquility in the South.
